When visiting Kilimanjaro, one of the best ways to explore the unique fauna of the region is through a safari in the surrounding national parks. This 3-day safari first takes you to the Tarangire National Park for a game drive to witness African elephants, lions, flamingos, and more in their natural habitats. You will also explore the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest inactive volcanic caldera.
Kilimanjaro International Airport
The most convenient airport to arrive to for the 3-Day Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park Safari is the Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Our driver and/or guide will be at the airport to greet you upon arrival and drive you to your lodge. Please refer to the itinerary for the accommodation arrangements.
