Full Itinerary

Day 1

Machame gate

06:30am – Pickup from your lodge in Moshi.

Transfer to Machame Gate for registration and park entry procedures.

Begin trekking through Kilimanjaro's rainforest ecosystem toward Machame Camp. Enjoy diverse vegetation, birdlife, and occasional wildlife encounters.

Lunch stop is arranged either midway or at Machame Camp depending on pace and group preference.

After a rest and photo opportunities, begin your descent through the rainforest before transfer back to Moshi.

Ascent Hiking Time: ~4–6 Hours
Descent Hiking Time: ~2–3 Hours
